ROSS Rigging a division of our engineering business were successfully awarded turnkey Fitout of a semiconductor facility expansion an area of 1,393.5m2 in an existing live semiconductor facility.
This intricate and challenging endeavour demanded a remarkable level of expertise and precision. Our responsibilities spanned across the entire installation process, encompassing tasks from the initial surveying and layout planning to the ultimate commissioning support of the tools.

The surveying and layout phase encompassed a thorough assessment of the installation site to guarantee its suitability for the equipment, ensuring ample space for their installation and operation. Employing cutting-edge specialized rigging equipment and techniques, we meticulously positioned the tools to align with the specified layout and requirements.

The process of unpacking the equipment from their crates, known as de-crating, was executed with meticulous care. Our team exhibited meticulous attention to detail to prevent any harm to the delicate tool components during the unpacking phase.

In order to guarantee adequate space and structural integrity for both equipment installation and load movement, meticulous route planning and floor assessments were undertaken. In many cases, we employed specialized techniques to reinforce the designated pathways, ensuring the smooth and secure relocation of equipment.

Upon successful placement of the tools, we transitioned into the installation phase, closely guided by the vendors. This stage encompassed the meticulous assembly and interconnection of diverse components. The process demanded a significant level of technical prowess and precision to ensure that the components were affixed in accordance with the client’s precise tolerances.
