The client needed a large volume of rigid plastic food containers that met their specific requirements. ROSS Polymer collaborated closely with The Lunch Bag to understand their needs thoroughly. We designed various functional prototypes in-house to ensure all aspects of their requirements were met, focusing on both functionality and sustainability. After the final design was approved, we moved on to designing, manufacturing, and validating the tooling required for mass production. A case study was conducted to identify the most sustainable polymer material before entering the full production cycle, adhering to ISO 9001, ISO 13485 & EU Food Grade standards. The entire process, from initial concept discussion to the first delivery of the finished product, was completed within 11 weeks. This efficiency allowed our client to compete for new business, confident that they now have a reliable source of packaging containers to meet their demand.
