ROSS Engineering were successfully awarded the detail, fabrication and install of catwalk ladders in a class 10 cleanroom environment. The scope of works on this project encompassed a comprehensive range of tasks aimed at ensuring safe and efficient access to elevated areas within a specialized cleanroom environment and all installation had to take place in a live cleanroom manufacturing facility. The project consisted of several phases, each contributing to the successful execution of the result.

Precise measurements of the designated areas within the cleanroom were taken to determine the exact locations where the powder coated steel catwalk access ladders would be installed. Accurate measurements were crucial to ensure that the ladders fit seamlessly and provided optimal access to the elevated areas.

The design phase involved the creation of detailed plans and specifications for the catwalk access ladders. The design took into consideration not only the functional aspects of the ladders but also their integration within the cleanroom’s specific requirements. Special attention was given to meeting the strict protocol cleanliness standards of a Class 10 Cleanroom.

The fabrication process translated the design plans into physical structures. Highly skilled fabricators worked on crafting the powder coated steel catwalk access ladders with precision. The fabrication process also involved ensuring the ladders met the cleanliness standards required for a cleanroom environment, including minimizing any potential particulate generation.

The installation phase involved securely positioning the fabricated catwalk access ladders along with self-closing security gates within the cleanroom. Expert installation teams followed precise guidelines to ensure proper placement and alignment. Attention to detail was paramount to ensure that the ladders adhered to both functional and cleanliness requirements.
